Study Book Ab-e-Hayat PDF

Maulana Muhammad Hussain Azad's book, Ab-e-Hayat, is one of the few basic books in Urdu which is a reference even in the era of clear change of thought, new critical tendencies and new debates. There is a general complaint about tazkirs that they are short, confusing, vague and substantially rhyming, with a brief description of the poet's short life and a cursory glance at his poetry. This short life situation and formal commentary does not give a complete picture of his life nor the full colors of his poetry are clear and thus this issue becomes a matter of personal preference and dislike instead of literary criticism.
